Secretary General of the Pakistan Peoples Party and former Chairman Senate, Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari, addressing a symposium on Xi Jinping’s Party Building Thoughts, said that Pakistan-China friendship is not merely a diplomatic relationship between two countries but a historic bond rooted in mutual trust, shared interests, political understanding and enduring cooperation.<\/p>

Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto played a historic role in laying the strong foundations of friendship between Pakistan and China. He made close relations with China a cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy and opened new avenues for political, diplomatic and economic cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>

He said that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto carried forward her father’s legacy and further strengthened Pakistan-China relations. During her political career and tenure as Prime Minister, she attached great importance to bilateral cooperation, mutual confidence and enduring friendship with China.<\/p>

Bukhari said that President Asif Ali Zardari has also played a significant role in giving new dimensions to Pakistan-China friendship and expanding economic and strategic cooperation. During his tenure, practical cooperation and economic partnership between the two countries received further impetus.
He said that Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, particularly during his tenure as Foreign Minister, played an effective role in promoting bilateral relations, diplomatic engagement and regional cooperation with China.<\/p>

He added that Aseefa Bhutto Zardari also represents the political vision and legacy of Pakistan-China friendship carried forward by the Bhutto family.<\/p>

Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari said that during President Asif Ali Zardari’s tenure, initiatives were taken to advance economic cooperation, CPEC and the strategic partnership with China. He emphasised the importance of transmitting the legacy of Pakistan-China friendship to future generations and adapting it to emerging global and regional challenges.<\/p>

He said that Aseefa Bhutto Zardari is also carrying forward the democratic, political and public-service traditions of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir BhuttoHe observed that under the leadership of Xi Jinping, China has made remarkable progress in development, poverty alleviation, modern technology and economic stability. Developing countries can benefit from China’s experiences and achievements.<\/p>

He further stressed that Pakistan-China relations should not remain confined to government and diplomatic channels alone. \u0631\u0648\u0627\u0628\u0637 between political parties, parliaments, youth, students, business communities and the people of both countries must also be expanded.<\/p>

Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari reaffirmed that the Pakistan Peoples Party would continue to uphold and advance the historic legacy of Pakistan-China friendship established by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and strengthened by Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.<\/p>

He expressed confidence that under the leadership and vision of President Asif Ali Zardari, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, this enduring friendship would continue to grow stronger.
