The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has announced that the 98th birth anniversary of its founder and great public leader, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, will be celebrated with enthusiasm, passion, and wide public participation across the country on January 5.
According to the Secretary General of Pakistan Peoples Party, Mr. Muhammad Humayun Khan, commemorative events will be organized at all district headquarters nationwide. In this regard, directives have already been issued to all district organizations of the party to arrange befitting and dignified anniversary programs in their respective areas.
Mr. Humayun Khan stated that the celebrations will include cake-cutting ceremonies, rallies, and public gatherings, during which rich tributes will be paid to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto for his historic national, democratic, and pro-people services.
He emphasized that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was not merely an individual, but a philosophy, a vision, and a symbol of the struggle for the rights of the people. His commitment to democracy, supremacy of the Constitution, public sovereignty, and labor- and farmer-friendly policies reshaped the political direction of Pakistan.
The Secretary General further said that the mission of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto remains the central pillar of Pakistan Peoples Party’s politics, and the party leadership and workers will continue their struggle for the protection of public rights and the establishment of true democracy in the country by following his thoughts and ideals.
