President Asif Ali Zardari has extended felicitations to the government and the people of the Kingdom of Sweden on their National Day.
The President stated that Pakistan deeply values its long-standing and friendly relations with Sweden, established in 1949, which are built on a solid foundation of mutual respect and a shared commitment to international peace and cooperation.
President Zardari expressed satisfaction with the steady progress of bilateral engagements, particularly in the fields of renewable energy, technology, telecommunications, textiles and agriculture as there is a vast potential to increase the bilateral trade volume. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening and expanding these mutually beneficial ties in the years ahead.
